I'm getting ready to sell my trusty '99 tacoma, if the price is right.
Located in South Paris, Maine, USA.
Currently, I have this truck listed for $8k. I've had a few interested parties at that price on CL, but nobody willing to make the drive out here to see it yet.

I based this asking price off of other gen1 tacomas I see come and go on CL in the area, generally with frame rot or in need of body work going in the 5-6k range... but I welcome any input on what this truck might actually be worth. I had originally listed it at 10k while I was using it to move last, and still had a few people asking about it but ultimately I think that's just too steep.

    224500 miles (and counting, slowly)
    5-speed manual, 2wd, 2.4L

This truck was brought up here from Florida around 2014, and has been FluidFilmed every fall since.
There is NO rot on this truck, and very little surface rust. Frame might as well be new.

Flatbed is 8' long and 6' wide, fully aluminum. Sits approximately 36" off the ground for easy loading/unloading and makes an excellent workbench for outdoor projects

Clutch was replaced a few years back.
Comes with the four factory r14 rims (two on the truck, two loose), two r15 steel wheels with winter rubber(currently on the back), and a set of four rust-free steel r15 rims with decent rubber.
    Nice deep winter floor mats.

Don't need to sell, but I don't really use it anymore. I just renewed the registration for about $100, and I still use the truck when I have to head into town because it's cheap to run. I also just used it to help move and it's always been super handy to just pick up something you need and move it without dealing with a trailer.

Not quite old enough for antique plates, but will be soon! Not that it matters, this truck won't have any problems taking a sticker for years to come.

Aluminum siderails are included, but I also have some beat up old wood ones with steel pegs that I've been using since I built them years ago... including a rear one with an overhead pipe that lines up with the front bed rack- for moving anything long (kayaks, 16' lumber, etc) - included with the truck if you want them, but they're not pretty.

    Heat and AC work great.
Only selling because I wanted a Tacoma with 4wd and a slightly bigger cab for off-road projects, and I finally found one (although its already broken down and I'm driving the '99 until I fix it...)
