    My alignment cams / bushings are seized up , thought if I could get a set of stock LCA's at a reasonable price I could take a bit of time and refurb them with new greased bushings like in Boyd's LCA thread , paint them , then just switch them over with no down time

    Camelback Toyota sells OEM ones for $260/side shipped for us US guys. OZ can't use them because they won't ship to Canada but since you're in CT, you can. They're a vendor on the forum and their customer service is great. Personally, I'd rather go OEM vs. no-name Ebay. The OEM ones come with BJ's and bushings also.

    Same thing happened to me. The dealership was 45 - 55% higher than Camelback, and Camelback shipped to my door.

    Just a note, even if you get new LCA's, if your bolts are seized, you'll have another $100 +/- in new bolts/nuts. The bolts they use aren't cheap.

    That's awesome! Are you just going to buy new LCA's or try the bushing replacement? If you get the new LCA's, just grease or neverseize the crap out of the new bolts and you'll be all set.

    I'm leaning toward get new LCA's , remove and grease the bushings , grease all bolts and do the swap over

    I'm no mechanic so that means less labour cost to me and less down time

    Honestly, I wouldn't bother with removing the bushings on the new ones. If you grease the bolts in the middle, you'll always be able to get an alignment so the limiting factor will be the life of the bushing itself (which should last you a very long time unless you spend a lot of time off roading and articulating the front).

    When I replaced my bushings, the bushings themselves were fine as far as function goes, the issue was everything in the middle was seized and couldn't be adjusted. You should get 100k miles out of the stock bushings depending on the type of use your truck sees.

    You'll also have a spare set you could swap new bushings into when the time comes so by the time you go through 2 more sets of bushings, you'll probably be ready for a new truck.
