Hello, I'm just curious to know if anyone is on the market for a truck like mine. Im planning on getting a car pretty soon and would rather sell my truck to someone on these forums than trade it in at a dealership.

I have meticulously cared for this truck the entire time I have owned it, have run only full synthetic oil and have had the tired rotated every 4K miles. The lift tires and wheels have only been on for around 10K miles. If anyone in seriously interested I can give a fully detailed inspection/video, I know about nearly every single tiny scratch on her. I bought this truck from Eastern Shore Toyota for $22,000 in June of 2009. She had 48K miles at the time. Since then I have put nearly 9 thousand dollars worth of aftermarket upgrades.

Bummer that you'd have to let such a sweet truck go. Cars are overrated! But yeah, you should post a price or an OBO.

Well, the KBB is ~$18,000 not including any of the aftermarket parts. So, all things considered, Im gonna have to say $23,000 or best offer (OBO). This is a feeler so nothing is set in stone but that would be my starting negotiating point. And yeah I love the truck, it runs great and is in about as good of condition as you can find them. Just time for a change. By the way, just in case anyone is curious, with the larger wheels and tires in normal city driving I average just under 17 mpg.

    Thanks

Mods are cool but dont add to price. Most dealers in Fl. wont them back to OME for best trade in $$$. Not trying to crap on you but thats the way they think. I had to strip alot off my 99 4x4 before i traded her in. Good luck, Jim

Thank you guys. And Jim, I realize that dealers would rather have stock trucks because they would like to appeal to all customers and that's also the reason mods.do not add trade in value. But if you can find the right person to buy it and wants the same kind of truck I'm sure they aren't going to mind that I took a $5000 hit on the mods haha. That's also why I came on tacoworld rather than trading it in, might be a win win for someone. Thanks for the feedback!

The grille can be taken off easily. But the truck, including the grille looks 5x better in person haha. Thanks for the compliments

Overpriced IMO. Most people don't care how much you put into the truck, but GLWS.

Thanks for the feedback 7. And I could return it to stock fairly easy and sell it with just the grille and sound system for 19,899 obo. The sound system cost me ~$2400 and grille was $650 so id take a $1,500 hit. I'm not forcing anyone to buy it haha its just a feeler.

Well if this is a "feeler" how much for the rims tires and roof rack?

I would def recommend returning the truck back to stock and selling everything. You will get over your asking price in a heart beat.

The tires were $1050 and the wheels were $850. The tires look really good, barely worn and the wheels are flawless. So I think around $1350 is fair. And the cheapest I could find the roof rack on the internet was on ebay for $283 so I'd take $165 for it
