Man...This is exactly what I was looking for only a little thicker! I also wanted the brushed metal look and would prefer a chunk of 3/8 alluminum and holes drilled on each corner for bolt design.....and for my new Tundra! Maybe this might be a little too tuff looking for the Tacoma :crapstorm:

Love the emblem, but way too pricey for me... I'd pay 50 shipped, maybe. IMO, make them thinner, reduces shipping costs and material costs (weight).

Good stuff! I take it you dont make it back to the area very often?

It's definately strong enough, I'm going to see if the shape is right for it. It's my bday so I'll try to open a few brews on it tonight.

Thanks for all the good info guys, so far I've decided to go with 3/16 thickness, this thins it out a tad but should still maintain the blocky design. If I order 10 I should be able to do them for about 70 a pop plus shipping, that's 50 bucks off. That includes a powdercoat finish. It would be 10 bucks more if you would like a mirror finish. As far as powdercoat options, we offer most basic colors

    Red
    White
    Blue
    Black
Sandblast w/ a clear - This is my favorite, the sandblast exposes the raw metal color then they throw a clear coat on it. It turns out like a glossy gunmetal.

If you have any requests, I can check to see if they stock the color you want.

Cool cool, I'll start putting a list together. Once we reach 10, I'll send out ordering info and place the cut order! Let me know what finish you would like and I'll add your name to the list

Here is an example of the sandblast clear coat. I dont know if the pic is clear enough but you can see the texture of the metal under the clear coat.

guys i just wanted to show you Jeffs work.

while badges hes making in this thread have the angled edges and are a LITTLE different than the one i just got from him, they are kind of similar style. i couldnt be happier with his results. serious quality chunk of metal.

Slightly off topic, but I would be interested to see someone try and make a "TRD" logo that goes in the center oem grill spot like this. It could probably look pretty nice if done right since it's only 3 letters and would therefore be fairly big.
