    Hahaha awesome!

I think I'll start with some clear plastic...whatever the heavy duty stuff is called, over an LED Bar. Which reminds me...can you get a quick measurement between the front of the rails?

The front cross bar is exactly 47" wide.

I will probably experiment with a clear lexan deflector once I save up the money for a light bar. But that is further down on a long list of wants. Even longer when you add in the needs.:)

Also, for those looking at the deflector pics. Don't be turned away by the somewhat unpleasant look of the bedliner I am using. I don't really love the look of it but I am far to hard on my stuff for spray paint to hold up, and I am far to cheap for powder coat or line-x. This stuff is my cheap, durable solution.

I haven't gotten exact measurements on a truck yet but based off pictures I have googled on the antenna, it looks like moving the rear cross bar forward a little should solve the problem.

Yea, That's why I'm ordering one and making my own crossbars, so I can play around with them in any configuration I want. Lower higher, spaced closer or farther apart, blah blah blah

That is really the benefit of this type of roof rack. For the DIY crowd I feel that it is a inexpensive way to start with a very simple palette and customize it to how you want. The DIY kit would be a great first welding project for those wanting to get into fabricating their own parts.

I'll bite for the DIY rack out of steel with the wind deflector.

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
Try a dual coat. POR-15 as a base, and bedliner as a topcoat. It seems to be strong enough for my skids...

No. Herculiner, rolled on with a texture roller intended for use with deck coatings. Apply it after the POR-15 has dried for 2 hours.

I will have to try that. Herculiner is actually what I have been using. It is very durable with just a normal primer, I just don't have the rolling technique down well enough to get it to look the way I want it to. The shape of the rack doesn't help much. It turned out much better when I used it on some large flat surfaces on another project.
