    Need some more feedback on this;

    1) Would you guys want a housing to bolt into the factory 3rd brake light holes, or drill 4 new ones on the outside (like in OP's post?)

    2) I assume most of you guys want the cutout for dual flushmount BD S2's? Any desire for a single light, Or other brand lights?(rigid, etc)

    3) How many want 2nd Gen VS 3rd gen?

    My setup would be plastic, injection mold quality. Very robust and i'm able to design it with smoother curves as to flow more like a factory light.(as opposed to metal which is very.. flat)

    I never disappoint :D.
    After some quick measurements, double S2's are wider than the entire 2nd gen housing. Which is perfect, because I plan on making the mouting holes inside the S2 cutout. I.e: they will be hidden and you'd reach in through the hole to mount the 2 stock screws, then screw the bajas in last.

    Just FYI..it's going to look nothing like that picture. OP picture has to be some other vehicle other than a Tacoma.
    for reference, this is double S2's compared to the Factory 3rd brake light footprint.o_O Ya they are huge

    Is there a different light that might be a more sensible fit?

    I like the BD rock lights myself... albiet not as bright. But you can only fit so much on this housing.
    Let me finish this design up and we'll brain storm again.

    Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
    I can't comment on this but I know he was having a lot of issues with getting the sizing to work. 2 S2's just don't fit in te 2nd gen hole and the 3rd gen was even smaller and more difficult to put together.

    I was his 2nd gen mock up.
