Big light, small hole. I can get it to fit, but wont know how "aesthetically pleasing" it will look..

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I was excited how it would end up for him but I do acknowledge there's a reason most trucks opt for a cage with something like Baja's RTL bar.

So after messing with the deisgn, the S2's are just too damn big. I have Baja's Rock lights, and they are VERY bright.(for the size) Also, they are available in RED, WHITE, AMBER, BLUE, GREEN. So you can mix and match what will fit your setup best.
Here is my 3rd gen mockup(don't worry 2nd gen guys, I am designing that one now) but the rock lights fit the profile much better.

This is the one I am making for my personal 3rd gen. 3 red brake lights(like a raptor) and 2 white for bed lights. 5 was squeezing it. for the 2nd gen only 3 will fit)

Once I get my prototypes dialed in, maybe Bailey @Baja Designs can help put together a package deal:D

You see my external holes? Hint: Once the OEM crap is removed, this mounts from the outside like the 2nd Gens:)
I must fix Toyota's shit design

Whoa that's cool! Do you still need to pull the headliner to initially remove the factory unit?

No. A sledge hammer will work fine from the outside.
But ya, if you don't want a dented roof..the nuts on the backside of OEM light need to be removed from the inside:facepalm:

Although the S2's would have kicked ass, ascetically the rock lights are a better fit. Yeah, they won't project light as far. But believe me they are plenty visible.
here's 3 Ambers compared to the outer DRL's.
