    Yeah, I'm more daunted by finding high quality replacement glass so that I don't get nauseous looking in my side view mirrors.

    hmm..id feel bad taking your only set of mirrors considering it would be my first set of 2nd gen mirrors and i don't even know if the LEDs would fit yet...

    looking at the measurements of the retrofit ones they don't look like they are that deep.

    their body is 14mm deep and including the leds it bumps them up to 26mm. So if the leds stuck out of the mirror a little bit I wouldn't mind.

    so depending on how deep the motor for the movement is it may work. I would be happy even if they didn't sit completely flush
