FWIW it took me about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to do my first conversion...
If i did it again I would say maybe 1 1/2 or so.

So are you priced per light or for the set? Can you convert PIAA 520s too if I ship you the lights?

The price listed for the Hella's is per pair. I'm not sure about the Piaa's, i havent seen a set in person before to see if theres ample room/ability to mod them.

You are telling me that you can order the Hella 500s (pair) and get them converted to HID for a cost of $150-175? That seems too good to be true!

Definitely interested. Do you know if Hellas will mount behind the grille?

Yes I am, and Yes they should. :D They seem to be what most guys with a Satoshi or Grillecraft put behind their grille.

Subscribed, give me a few weeks to set aside funds and I'm for sure in. What would be the best combo for a wide beam pattern. I don't need a huge amount of output.....so I guess the 35w in the 500FF, whatever ballast is the cheapest. Is this the $150?

I'm definitely in. Please let me know via pm or something when you get this rolling and I will get you the money and specify which kits I'd want. I'm assuming this will come with all the wiring and everything that comes with the Hellas for the install, correct?

Do the hellas have to be the 500ff ? I have a pair of 500's, I don't think they are FF's though.

I dont think they have to, the only difference to my knowledge is in the lens. The FF uses the reflector to aim the beam, the regular 500 uses the glass lens to do the job.

The 700's would be $10 more for the set.
