Id love to have one, But the install worries me, Do you think a shop of some sort could handle the install for relatively cheap?

I voted maybe. I do think that this is a neat idea worth serious consideration. I really wish that we had a solid one piece back window that slid down automatically like the tundras.

Anyone want to look into this? hehe

The main factor in me not purchasing a kit like this is the cost.
For $200 Ill open it by hand. Get it to the $100 range and Id buy for sure.

I havent voted yet, not that I'm not interested or don't want one. Just wondering if this kit would clear speaker boxes? My only concern, otherwise put me down for a double cab one!

From what I can see, it's all mounted behind/between the plastic rear panels. Do your speakers sit in front of those panels, or replace them? If the former, I'd say, no problem - the mechanism will fit fine. If the speakers take the place of those panels, then you might not have room.

Any word on if this is a go or not BenWa? I know you're busy with other stuff, I'm just anxious. My budget for this mod is dwindling down as the weeks go buy. Over 200 backers here according to the pool. I think you got a winner here. I think we just need to know if this will be a certain thing or not.

Is there any way to make a window that rolls down like in the tundra instead of just the slide open?

Thats a lot of fabrication work man. I wouldnt even attempt it, Shit i wouldnt even trust a shop to do it. To many ways to leak or destroy the rear window IMHO
