This is a pic of the hidden kit installed ... is this what you wanted to see?:

    IMAG0838_3f3b9e2807bdfbf11a1b7ab0ddd8146bc3e84139.jpg

All you can see are two anchor brackets on the window frame where the regulator cables affix to the window frame, and the heads of three hex bolts in the drivers side storage cubby where the motor mounts underneath the cubby.

I get that you cant see it with the plastics in, hence the hidden part. I was hoping to see what is behind the plastics. Thanks.

I voted maybe right now purely because of lack of funds. If this becomes available in August I would definitely buy it (especially if an install DVD is provided!).

    That is a CLEAN install.

I'm in 100%, so just let me know when/where to send money. FWIW, $175-180 is a damned decent price.

I'll be putting a switch in the existing slots in the dash to the left of the steering column so a tutorial on the wiring for that would be a big help, too. And, while I'm daydreaming, if the switch wiring instructions were available before August it'd be cool to have that part done.

I voted YES, lets do this.
Hey wait...my 2013 doesn't exactly look like that. My passenger side looks identical to my drivers side and is open storage (no mesh grill thing) meaning the motor won't be hidden for my truck. Can't believe I didn't notice this before. Did this change take place in 2012 or 2013. Has anyone else noticed this difference?

Love the idea, would love to have it, no problem with the price. Only thing that worries me is the electrical part. I know very little about electrical stuff on cars.

I'm guessing you mean that you don't have the JBL subwoofer, so on your passenger side there is another recess in the bottom half of the storage cubby similar to the drivers side cubby. Is that correct? If so, the motor will still be hidden. The motor is mounted at the space between the drivers side and passengers side cubbies.

To be perfectly honest, while certainly nice, it's just not something I have any inclination to install myself. I'm completely burnt out on mods at this point, especially with so many other things pending. The new (to us) house, for example, is more than enough to keep us busy for some time to come. Perhaps sometime in the future, but don't count on it.

Yeah, thought that was a speaker but didn't make the connection with the optional JBL package available in our trucks. Thanks for clearing that up! Now I'm stoked to get one. Nice to see a list going of people interested.
