Anyone have a 2013 to 2015 center with the AC vents sitting around, I only want it for making accessories and want to take measurements but don't want to remove mine, will trade for one of my 2005 thru 2015 tailgate locks.

After reading this thread and others, I purchased all of the panels along with a steering wheel, column covers and "glass" (plastic cover) for the combination meter (cluster).
I installed a stock 2014 navigation radio so the steering wheel buttons will come in handy. I already have the spiral cable (yet to be installed).

My interior wasn't in good shape, almost every panel was scratched in some way. I guess that's how it is with a work truck that has over 100,000 miles on it. The steering wheel is completely smooth at the top where the PO has worn down the texture.

Parts guy at the dealership told me when I'm done I'll have a 2019 Tacoma ;)

Thanks. I have to clean the airbag and start to assemble the rest of the interior.

@Cativelense linked relevant install threads in the first post.

Edit: That thread goes the long way though because the OP is adding steering wheel controls. The short way is to remove the airbag (one bolt on either side of the steering wheel behind access covers) and the radio controls should easily be removed after that.

There are 4 screws (2 per side) that hold them in. You can see them once you remove the airbag. Use the link that @GHOST SHIP POSTED above if you never did it before.

    Thanks

Now trying to decide if I want to paint them like I did the rest of the dash or order them .

If I could order just the volume button, cause if the little bit of light that shows thru, then I would definitely paint them........
    Decisions, decisions.

So I did the steering wheel controls swap.....

    But I got a few complaints. ........

No body told me the torx screws were under a cover on each side, costs me about 24.7 seconds.

Also no one mentioned the Tonka logo in the middle of the airbag that would now drive me crazy....

Rat bastards, the whole lot of you......

    20190615_093722.jpg

On to refresh the middle sections and the tonka logo mentioned earlier....

Thanks for all your help, my wallet no longer hurts my back.
