Looks like we have quite a bit of interest. I'll start the official group buy thread with all the details tomorrow.

Sure thing. I'll coordinate with Tim. He's generally available on weekends and weekday nights.

@duncnasty I just saw this thread! I would totally go with Tim over buying my bars if I were you lol. Unless you want some cheap ones from me lol.

My truck is at Tim's right now getting regeared. I can't say enough good things about the guy. His customer service and great communication is amazing. We've had a couple snags during install, some my fault, some just happenstance and he's been in constant communication with me the entire time and worked with me to get shit done. Example- I brought a cheapo online axle for him to break down and assemble with my long travel shafts, turns out the aftermarket CVs are different sized and don't fit with OEM CV stuff. I got a CV on will call for him at an O Reilly's somewhat near him and he picked it up after work and didn't charge me for the gas, just the part. Dude seems super knowledgeable about fabrication, he's got a pretty badass bronco he's building that's pretty impressive, and his prices are super competitive. He is a 1 man show currently (but said he's been thinking about getting some help possibly) but his garage is pretty well stocked. AFAIK his website is up and running, give him a call or email him for any work you want to get done, if he can't do it he'll tell you, he won't BS you. He also said he's going to have an online store soon I think? Or at least he's going to be a dealer for a variety of products soon.

I posted the price. It's $65 per bare bar. Any pair of tabs/customization is +$20.

Again since I'm new could you throw me a bone here...... I know now that you can mount rotopaX to the bars but what other kind of things fall under "tabs/customization" like tabs to mound an extinguisher/hand tool to? Tabs that you can mount a monkey fist to?

Some guys have horizontal tabs o the top of the bars to mount lights. You could mount a hi jack. You could bolt a Quickfists to a tab to mount a fire extinguisher to. The possibilities are pretty much endless.

I only have tabs to mount the RotopaX plate. For the rest of my stuff, I'm using 1.75" roll bar clamps to mount bolts (that's how I'm mounting my traction boards) or Quickfists to.

I'm gonna go visit Tim this weekend. It's a loooooong 5 minute drive ...

Someone set up a meet and greet at his house lol

EDIT: Yes, sign me up for 2 bars. I'll talk to him about customization. Can he do low profile bars?

Yep, low profile is about 6". If you mount a RTT, it will sit close to flush with the cab I believe.

Thanks for the pointers and I'm glad you were able to get enough interest to drum some business up!! It's cool to keep money moving locally. I'm still interested in the bars for a third gen, if there's any movement on that or if you need anything feel free to pm me. Id like to help fill Tims pockets with money for truck things!

Francis, if you could spare 20 minutes, can Tim measure your 3rd Gen for the bed width? Looks like a few 3rd Gen guys are interested.

No problem, man. There's other 3rd Gen guys, so Tim will have the measurements.
