Definitely El Encanto, great Mexican food, or Big Earl's Greasy Eats.

 

I second the vote for El Encanto. Either location, but the one in Cave Creek has the cool layout and a killer Sunday breakfast/brunch buffet. The other one on 12th St. is nice and big. Both get pretty busy.

 

I am out this week, to much already going on.

I’ve been to the Desert Hills location and the food is always great, tons of parking for trucks, service has been hit or miss.

 

Well, get on it!

The one on 67th ave and Deer Valley is a madhouse. Parking is always overflowing and it's hard to get a seat especially on any kind of game night. It's the only quality sports bar in the area. Food is decent but not award-winning and the service is mediocre, but there are a thousand TVs on every wall.

 

Well, how about Dillon's tomorrow and we'll set up a Cave Creek El Encanto meet for a couple of weeks after?

Edit: Connolly's Sports Bar would be another possibility for tomorrow. Went there the week before last -- decent food, lots of room, pool tables

I'm game for whatever this week. This is my last week of getting out at 5pm next week i get out at 7 for the next few months

 

Alright gents, lets go with Connelly's tomorrow 6:30-7:00 for something different.

 

Can't make this week. I'll try for the next one though! I'd like to meet some of y'all. I'm sure we've past each other a few times. Im usually running around 67th and Happy Valley.

 

I've probably seen you. I live right there.

I have to change plans and will not be able to make it to this one.

 

Just an FYI about going to Connelly's....

There's football tonight, so the place is going to be packed. Might not be a good idea after all.

 

CB&C will be so slammed because of football, and it's usually very busy on any night of the week anyways. If we're going anywhere tonight, it can't be a sports bar or we won't get in if we have a group. I believe the Cardinals are playing tonight, so even worse.

Also it sounds like a lot of folks are bowing out of this week.

 

How about next week then if that seems better?

 

I’m here anyway since it’s close to my house and getting some food - busy day at work and didn’t have time for lunch earlier.

If some of you guys still end up coming that’s cool otherwise we’ll just reschedule to next week when it works a bit better.

 

This wasn’t here earlier when I walked in but nice truck.....don’t know that it’s anyone on here.
