    Man that's so weird - he had posted a bunch of helpful stuff to people looking for help including on a thread where I was too and then bam, hammer got'm. Usually I can see some signs of someone coming unwound when I search their posts. I did see a "happy" comment. Well I'm glad it's only a week! Hopefully it's nothing big and he's back here chilling and helping people asap!

    I’ve noticed that there is a broad range of what qualifies as a ban-able offense seemingly related to how friendly some users are with mods vs others. ie. Person A well known to mod and on TW a lot says some snide remark or is generally an ass on the forums = no ban versus Person B who is a low visibility figure on TW says similar shit and the axe comes down.

    lol you're the red headed step children of the southwest I guess :rofl: I've noticed a good amount of vigilance in making sure no one gets on newbie's cases. Luckily I'm still noobish in many ways so I usually feel bad for them lol.     No, not the case. We are pretty lenient with most things but when people push the limit we step in. If you percieve it being a “power” thing then you might want to step out and look around the forum and see how much power we actually push out.

    Of course you it’s you chiming in. Let’s see. Telling someone to google is pushing the limit. What does the Code of Conduct say about being a welcoming environment? So, first response being a giphy to “how to google” is welcoming?

    Not sure if you all know that TW does fall under the purview of the mods and admin...this includes the AZ section and when people/members try to be coy and slide under the radar it does draw our attention.
