I have an awning on my truck, and also a separate 9x9 EZ-up I can bring. The awning is still bolted on my bed rack. My grill is a big full size backyard one, and I don't want to wheel with it plus it won't fit with my bed rack. We'll need smaller ones.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
will a car be able to make it to the staging area?
Something like a Corolla or whatever rental I end up with.
I'll be out in that general area for business but might be able to stop in for a bit.

Being a rental, for sure. I made it most of the way in my Jetta in a rain storm until the shooting spot we used. Trailers get dragged that far out as I will be doing that day.

you should be able to get to the staging area, most of those roads arent too bad unless it rains and some jackass puts ruts in them.. the first section of road is pretty well paved because of the quarry

So, is this just a daytime event? What about having it be an evening bonfire kind of thing?

I would be down for afternoon into evening.

But, the National Forests are starting fire restrictions Friday morning. No word for BLM yet, but be SAFE.

    Sweet.

I'll be down for probably running laps of Lower Terminator for passengers in my buggy.

Yeah it's dry as a bone out there. Depending on what most people want to do, we'll check on fire status for that area when we get closer to the date. Otherwise, just a day trip is fine with me.

Road to the staging area is in decent condition. Dragged the low riding trailer in with no issues Saturday night. Plenty of potholes and a couple sharp dips, but just take it easy in the car. Avoid driving near the fence or fire rings, other guy's trailer got a flat from some debris.

Forecast is looking cooler than usual, but windy for Saturday.

    Anyone else in?

Agreed, let's get a full plan update in place. I have a party to attend that starts at 5pm in the north valley, so I could attend this until no later than 3pm. The earlier the better for me.

Any grills that can be used yet? Figure on lunch at the staging area and hang out then?

Maybe get started in the morning? Do some driving. Get back, eat, meet, greet, hangout. Then maybe other trail stuff after.

Current forecast is showing 50% chance of rain. More in the morning and tapering off into the afternoon.

TOTW? I don't have any intel on that trail?

    So who's still interested?

Looks like I'm out. Just too much that I need to get done that I can't avoid this weekend. I'm game for a reschedule as I was really looking forward to a BBQ and hangout.

I concur. Not exactly busting the door down with for sure interest and iffy weather forecast.

Yeah and that's unfortunate. I don't mind a little rain or mud, but I'd hate for it to be windy and rainy and try to hang out under awnings and whatnot. Was really looking forward to this, so let's reschedule for something soon.

Ok, I've got a hunch on what TOTW is based on that description.
