To add a little info on the 2nd Gen front plate bumpers, I just got the first set of pieces from the CNC shop today, I weighed everything and it looks like the bumpers will be 100-105lbs. :) Not bad at all for solid 3/16" plate.

Can you post a link to the one you built a few months back, can't seem to find the thread or photos.

Sorry I missed the "here" part.. think you will try a rear bumper this summer? Maybe something like the all pro but a little more bullet proof?
    thanks for the reply.

    For sure! :)
Based on the pics from the All Pro website, they should work just fine together. :)

Awesome! Thanks man. I was thinking about having the logo 'R' cut in somewhere, where would be best in your opinnion? I was considering in the end plates that wrap around the side, or maybe just right in the middle of one of the front plates? Where do you think is best? I was also considering having some of the 'R's cut out of thin meta l(like 1/16" or something) and then just tack weld them on the plate instead of cutting into the main plates of the bumper? Not sure which way i'll do it yet.

Well i was gonna go with the hybrid bumper but the plate bumper you made for jd is way too sick to pass up. Since New Mexico doesnt require front plates I would put the R there. I actually would like having mine in the middle where jds license plate is. Like a big R then elentless. So i can rep that bumper so people would be like where can i get one of those bad boys then ill send them your way.

I'd possibly sell my All Pro front for this bumper. Is anyone going to have this bumper at the TSF meet in June?

Yeah, I'll have one on my truck for sure.
I just started with building the 1st one I got from the CNC cutting shop this afternoon for myself as a 2nd prototype to double check everything. So far I've found a couple of little things I need the shop to change, and then the rest of them they cut for me should fit together perfectly. :)

Here's my progress with building my bumper for my truck. Found a few things along the way that need to be massaged in the CAD drawings for the CNC waterjet shop to make these fit just perfect. :)

What's the weight different between this and your original? I'm interested in hearing what changed.

A big thanks to ya man! :)
The design is exactly the same as the original, we just 'guestimated' the original to be a bit heavier than it actually was I guess. To get the weight of this one, I grabbed a stack of the small plates, weighed them, then weighed the larger pieces individually and came up with almost exactly 100lbs...to the 1/10 of a pound. Thats before welding, minus a couple end plates, and minus cutouts for fog lights (and possibly logos cut out in future ones). So I figure its right in the 100-105lb neighborhood all said and done. I'll know the weight for sure with the next one, it will be exactly what a customer will receive when they order one.
