    FEELER DETAILS:
    before making this official we will need to get a minimum of 10 people interested and "confirmed" before we make this all official. We will not be accepting any money until we get the minimum people confirmed for the Friday October 25th clinic.

    What’s covered:
    A comprehensive clinic that covers the basics of first aid in outdoors settings. It will be a full day clinic that will run rain or shine Friday October 25th before our Fall Clean Up Run.
    The clinic is a condensed and simplified version of their actual Wilderness First Responder Certification Course.

    Who’s running it?
    We partnered with Get Outdoors - Safety and Survival Training. A well known Ontario based First Aid training organization.

    Where will this run?
    They have generously offered to come and teach the clinic at our usual camp spot in Ardbeg before the fall clean up event.

    What’s the cost?
    35$ per person, with a minimum amount of 10 people but max of 25 people.


    Disclaimer: This clinic is not a first aid certification course, it is intended to give us the needed knowledge to respond to an accident in an unconventional wilderness environment. No previous First Aid knowledge required. If you are looking for a certification you would need to do the uncondensed version through Get Outdoors. However this $35 course will give you a introduction to the more in-depth course they offer.

    Thanks to those that have already paid. Just wanted everyone to know that we have booked this with ‘GetOutdoors’. Ideally if e-transfers could be sent as soon as possible but we will be closing it at the start of October so we can begin to coordinate items needed for the class such as gazebos and what not. Keep in mind we are doing this during a cleanup so we do have a few things to bring in addition to the cleanup items themselves and our own items for camping.

    If anyone has any questions, feel free to let myself or @Trdtacosauce know.
