FEELER: Would you put these on your Tacoma?

Trust me, I want to get started on making these things just as bad as you guys want them. Still waiting on new parts to be released for my printer that will make these more feasible.

 

Haha I'm just trolling you but you never fully answered my question on if you'll be able to custom make a monster symbol to light up green in the place of stock emblem I'll be the first on your list to buy if thats true

Yeah, I'll be offering custom emblems / badges with different illumination options. I can basically put any symbol on that front emblem piece and print it out. Unique illuminated ones will likely be kind of pricey since it involves a lot of time in designing and assembly, but they will be very high quality with a good warranty and very unique!

 

I'll give you 49 cents! Haha just kidding let me kno price would look bad ass on my truck can't wait to see what you can do and how the install is on this

 

I really want this one, no illumination at all, just the way it is. Would look sick on my black TX Baja, and matches the rear red trd emblem perfectly.

I'd be interested in a non illuminated TRD or even better TEQ.

 

Not sure what to charge yet, I'll have to determine that after I have made a complete product. It's hard to tell how much work will be involved with making these once they don't have to be painted. There will still be minor fabrication work involved, sanding, and the clear coating that will need to be tried and tested.

I'm hoping to keep them under $100 for non illuminated, non custom, direct swap emblems.

That one would be easy to put onto the front emblem design. Do you have a particular color scheme in mind or would you want it to match the logo?

you and me both! These new parts are going to expand my printing abilities drastically. I'll even be able to print polycarbonate so I may dabble with printing some unique accessories for my firearms!

I can also print polycarbonate with electronic circuitry embedded in it with the new parts. The possibilities are endless, really.

I'm getting so impatient, I started doing tests for LED illuminating custom profiles, just to become familiar with all the things to consider before I get the parts that will let me do it at a producible level.

What's TEQ?

Hmmm.....no. What is it?

 

It's a mock-up testing apparatus in the general shape of the inside contours of a 2012+ headlight bezel. I'm testing different LED setups and 3d printed diffusers for when the new parts arrive that will allow me to make these and start retrofitting headlights on a more custom, higher level than what is already available.

 

The newest addition to the upcoming release of several products has just passed the first prototyping phase!

The original design only took about an hour, and I've already started making amendments to it that will improve fitment, structural integrity, aesthetics, and design sustainability. It will work on either of the sun glass doors on the upper console and it happens to fit perfectly under the dash inside of the little cubby at the front of the center console! It fits 6 OTRATTW switches and the design can be easily altered to hold different displays like the scanguage, audison DRC's, escort radio detector displays / controllers, select CB radios, and pretty much anything else! Due to the simplicity of this part, it can be offered with several options to increase its functionality and aesthetics. Such options include LED map lighting, solid profile LED accent lighting, and pretty much any feasible custom options that may come as special requests. It will be supplied with detailed installation instructions for each application and can be painted to match its surroundings. Enjoy the teaser!
