They knock anything off for the trouble or at least give you rush shipping?

They are claiming 2 day shipping for new parts vs the slow boat I got the first time.

On a happy note, we will be taking the ferry out to Vashon island this weekend. Haven't been out there since I was a kid/teen. Excited to get the boys out for some family fun.

The rest of rims came in yesterday. Lugs nuts will be here Monday. I get to spend tomorrow morning testing electrical components of my dryer. Awesome. Hopefully don't have to buy a new dryer, that will slow things down. Oh well. Looking forward to Sunday trip to Vashon.

I had to fix my dryer like a year and a half ago. Cant remember if it was bearings or slides but its been good since. Its lasted 13 years. Unfortunatly 6 months after my washer bit the big one. Tore it apart only to find i couldnt get a replacement part. Had to get a new one. Crossing my fingers for yours.

It's a 12 year old dryer. I've been reading up on all the possible culprits, some folks had to replace just about everything to make it work again. I won't do that.

I have only bought older used dryers and washers and easily been able to fix them and keep them running thankfully we have a really good appliance repair place in town that can get or has parts that I need or are not produced anymore.

    What is your dryer doing?

Just won't start. I ran the diagnostic program and came up with f25 code for the thermistors. One tested bad. Ordered on Amazon for $8 should be here Tuesday. Hope that's it. I tested all the other components in that particular part of the system and the where all within specified range. We bought a SpeedQueen washer about 5 years ago and I think my wife is looking for a reason to get the matching dryer.

Ah it's fancier than the ones I get. I get the old dial style ones with simple wiring and no code telling or anything like that just a relay or 2 a heavy resistor for the heating element and a timer.
