500 mile oil change for rear diff this morning. A40D089D-B659-45F4-8E3D-246D23E31E05.jpgSmall amount of very fine metal. Exactly what I expected from breaking in new gears. Also used ecgs recommendation for oil Weight on refill. 1C1F8462-EDAD-4CA7-8D22-C7F690B20B30.jpgTook it for a drive and I can say the clicking from locker in turns is way quieter.

I figured out that not having ready access to a badass fab shop is a bit of a hindrance. Redneck engineering and a license plate whipped out a temporary fuse panel mount. 6155D069-9D84-4056-901F-AEAA7B5B15C3.jpg E5B2E415-0CDD-4373-BB18-283A7E0211B7.jpg1095828E-B601-4786-A71B-C95C51DA0D48.jpg I will replace it with something nice when I get back into the shop on a regular basis. But for now it gives me something to use while I redo some wiring and add the heated seats.

Looks more Toyotaish than Ford. I haven't read on it at all. Get rid of the Taco, or new car for the lady?

If it goes my way keep taco and get one. You can order one from Ford with 7speed manual and front&rear lockers on 35’s. I think they hit one outa the park with this.

So I put in for Bronco preorder last night. It was only $100 to save a place. I selected a base model 4door with Sasquatch package.(35’s, lockers, beadlocks, and the Uber Bilstein suspension) it will be in the neighbor hood of $40k. These are expected to hit showrooms till spring 2021.

It’s the one that gets all the off-road bits like lockers and 35’s

Went out and did some wheeling with my kids today. 4832728D-17DB-4BE5-9F6C-5BE885A262F0.jpgFD0EA83F-757D-4329-B543-43FF5CDABDB6.jpg 63E0B6B7-BC42-41EC-BE08-51F79CC3589F.jpgThe 4.56 gears make such a big improvement.
Ford has said the Bronco won’t be released till 2022 although my reservation was for a 2021. Combine that with our current global situation and I thinking of making some serious changes. We had some travel plans that have been scrapped with no chance of being able to do them anytime soon. So.....
I’m considering selling my Taco and buying a Ram 2500 or 3500 and some sort of camper setup. If it happens it won’t be for a bit. I think I’m on the hook for remodeling my kitchen when we get home.
