Feels like the end!?(traded in)

Finally getting to the seat heaters. More will be revealed.

 

Heated seat install dump #1. There are several plastic pressure fit clips that just pry off. The cushion is Velcro to frame. All the cable ties in the pic are where the hog rings were that you will need to cut to remove cover. Make sure you fish all the pieces of hog ring out so they don’t cause trouble in the future. You might need to trim the fabric a bit to get the center bar to fit without completely cutting through the heating element wires. I removed the bars from the sides so I could fold the seat cover over to zip tie the center. Then insert and secure sides.

 

I didn’t really dedicate time for this today, so I have about 1.5 hours into passenger seat. I’ll do driver seat tomorrow. Then move onto the wiring.

 

Finishing up with driver seat. A couple more picks of assembly. Removing these rods allows you to fold the cover over to work the center. Then just slip them back in a wire tie them. Make sure to get them good and tight and clip off excess.

 

You would never know that these seats have been taken apart.

Yep, they are very excited. My wife has been trying to coordinate this since March. She is from the same breeder as our other Newf.

The last few weeks have totally sucked. A friend got COVID 2 weeks ago and is currently in a coma. My father lost his battle with leukemia this last Friday morning. I’m so fucking sick of this fucking COVID shit.

 

That is terrible and very sorry to hear. Wife and I are also very tired of all this but have side stepped anything such as that so far.

 

My dad was supposed to get his second vaccination this Saturday. He was really looking forward to being able to visit with his grandkids again. It’s all just so fucking frustrating.

 

My current bright spot is we are supposed to get a shit ton of snow over the next few days. Fingers crossed.

 

It has been very trying to say the least. Wife and I have been working the whole time, understaffed with people in and out for almost a year now. Feel ya on the frustration bro, I'm just trying to
keep my head about me and move forward. You know us TW bros are always here to listen. It's been tough on us all.
