I have an 18 off road. Sometimes when I am accelerating from a stop or a slow roll it feels t like I’m driving over bumps. Like almost wheel hop. I could be going 10mph accelerating slow and I feel that hop in the rear. If I press hard on the gas I won’t get that hop. Has anyone else had this issue?

Axle wrap? It occurs when the rear accelerates faster than the front, torquing the rear axle and compressing the rear leaf spring.

Happened to me in sand and snow. Not much you can definitively do about it unless you want to get a traction bar. New rear leaf springs and aftermarket hangars might help. They helped me.

Might check your front brakes… maybe one is sticking?

I had wheel hop on my FRS. Rear tire was mis shaped. Every time I’d accelerate, it would pull one direction.

Do you have a manual trans? If so, are you sure it’s not just bucking from accelerating while being to low in RPM?
I’ve had a few times where I’ve shifted into 2nd while still going a bit too slow, and while trying to accelerate, the truck started to bounce/buck.
