What does the inside of the C-channel look like? What about up front behind the front wheels? From available pictures it’s salvageable, lots of scraping, grinding, rust encapsulator & Fluid Film.

    what would 'scaling' look like?
AZ has salty air? thought it to be a rather arid desert environment (I've never been there!)

so you think the black in this pic is coating? or the frame paint?
it looks like undercoating to me comparing my frame which has remnants of coating and decent frame paint with some surface crusty spots here and there
    some ziebart stuff? fluid film?
    lizard skin?
wish i was local to this truck, i would go inspect it!

yes yes, you don't know the story haha

i am finally getting a LineX spray in
took off my plastic drop in liner for the first time in 22yrs, has never seen light of day under there until this past week

very very little rust spots underneath, just a large amount of scraping turned to naked steel

where the heck is my picture...
