A woman was killed Wednesday morning when the pick-up truck she was driving collided with another truck.

It happened about 7:30 a.m. on Route 220 north near Avis. Police said the pick-up collided with another truck that was hauling a woodchipper. Both trucks went through the guide rail and down a steep embankment.

The driver of the pick-up truck was taken to the hospital where she later died. She has not been identified. The driver of the second truck was not hurt.

Route 220 was down to one lane as crews removed the trucks.

it said that both trucks went through the guard rail and down a steep embankment.. maybe something went through the windshield or she was ejected if she wasn't buckled in..

Wow...that sucks!! R.I.P to her and prayers to her family & loved ones.

I tried searching for more pictures......

Just goes to show, you never know when God will take you out of this world. I surely hope she was happy and felt fulfilled with her short life.

    neglect, mostly.
man that's sad. . . though to bring light to something else, the cab looks really good considering the rest of the front end. kind of assuring.

According to the 12 o clock news, they said she wasn't wearing a seat belt. I could only think she must have been ejected through side window maybe, then Vehicle rolled on her. The truck that hit her was pulling a Bobcat tractor on a trailer.

    RIP..

I have personally witnessed a drunk driver hitting a light pole and being tossed half way through the glass window. Only thing that kept him in was his legs getting caught on the steering wheel/dash board. Seat belts are there for a reason. Sucks to hear about things like this for something that would take seconds to put on. She probably would have lived with a seat belt on. :(

    RIP
