Great to see everyone else still here! Thanks for the welcomes! No Jeep...'cept the one my mother-in-law owns that we still maintain for her. I wish she'd kick that thing to the curb (but she can't afford to).

Haven't been out in the vette much either. We found a new hobby in Geocaching and the tacoma has become the GEO-truck. Been outdoors doing that.....lots of fun!

I guess after a while, you find something 'new' to keep life interesting. :D

Not yet a truck owner, but will be getting my truck in the next couple months. Now, be gentlemen when you talk to me, because I am married, and just not interested in crude language from any man. You can be yourself, but on some things keep your mouth shut. If you don't want to that's okay, but don't say I didn't warn you. I will first just send a nice pm, for you to keep it a bit more cleaner, the second offense I will send another pm warning you on the third, you will be reported. I may only be a junior member, but I am not the type of woman who really likes to be given pick up lines, or hear degrading things about women, or jokes about women's bodies over the internet. Yes I know I kill the fun. Well on this, I don't really mind.

Now that I got that hefty opinion and warning out of the way. I must say, Ladies where is that Women's only folder located? Please link me to it. Because ladies, it would sure be nice to chat with you. I'm new here, and a lot of these posts are from like 4 years ago. Well except the ones above me, just a year ago that's great. Other then that, you can always pm me ladies.

That's just like saying for everyone on here to be nice to each other and threatening everyone to be nice or else, that just doesn't happen here or at least I have not seen it  this is a public forum so stuff will come out and if you don't like what people say just ignore them. I guess the shit will fly at me for this but who cares  like I said this is a public forum if you don't like what I said ignore me :D

I am basically saying about things directed at me. at other users I just don't care. At me. Yes I care. So if you are talking with me, don't flirt with me is all I'm saying. With others, do whatever you want.

Unless you say something really really offensive, then I may just report it right away. I think the whole ignoring thing doesn't work any way, for anybody, so It may just be better to stand up and say something. And I prefer to do it the first time with the person privately, second time is the same, and third time, well I already explained it above. As for this thread. It allowed me to see who the gals are on here. Which is great. So I do thank you for the thread. And yeah generally I skip over all the comments I find abrasive, and crude.

Anyway. So where does a gal go to learn more about the ins and outs of a truck? Buy being born female, though my Grandfather knows a lot about mechanics, he really never taught me anything because I was to young, and by the time I became 16 (the age I'm sure he wanted to teach me about oil changing and the like) he became blind, so could not do that. He still talked to me about some of it. He used to have a 76 Ford. It was a Ford F-100, with the two tone cream and brown color. We also had a camper that we took to the beach occasionally. The camper had seat belts, so my brother and I would ride in the camper, with him and Grandma up front. That was my first experience with trucks, and I've always wanted to have a truck. Unfortunately rather then having it fixed up ourselves for me to drive, they gave it away. I still pine for the truck, but hey maybe its best. I kind of like new interiors with all the technical stuff anyway. Well now that Ford did away with the ranger in the US, I looked toward the toyota tacoma as the best possible smaller truck. Plus the outside of a truck hasn't changed much (except in some design concepts).

So that is my story about trucks. And why I want one. You can see my posts in Access cab or Double cab, and my other post in the introductions for more about me.

    .
I have been on here for I little over a year and in general, the boys are pretty well behaved, in addition the are several women who are regular posters and will also keep the boys in check if they feel they are getting out of hand. Rude behavior is not tolerated by the mods here, usually a PM to one of them will solve problems in a hurry.
