    Mods? Yes, oh yes..
they are two wholly different products with entirely different sales environments. .125" sheets are less than $50 (have seen them around $20ish) for the big ones. Everyone needs to make a buck, I get it, but pricing it because the dealer charges some astronomically high amount for essentially a consumable piece of plastic. no sale. would totally buy and the other covers too if the pricing was more on par with materials and labor. I want you to succeed and took the time to let you know why. I wish more people did this when a contract doesn't come my way. go get em!

Completely respect your opinion. Yes, .0625 - .125" plastic sheets (8'x4') (ABS, HDPE) are run of the mill and can be sourced at any plastic supplier for $35-60 depending on rapport. For reference our material is not ABS nor HDPE, in fact it's actually a morph of the two. In other words, the 1/8" plastic sheets you referenced would never roll into a 8" wide box, ours will. Another kicker is you can't source our material through plastic suppliers, because it's direct from manufacture on a distributor basis. Only a handful in the USA, and only 1 that can manufacture 1/8" plastic like ours. I spent months on months doing R&D, dealing with suppliers in search of the best material for the application. Got told what I was looking for didn't exist, bout 1,000 times or that it's only available in 1/4" - up. At increased levels of thickness, our material is incorporated into a variety of bulletproof products on the market. That should attest to it's durability.

To address your concern regarding the level of input, our Liners are 95% handmade 5% machined, multiple hours go into fabricating a Set. We are not on Toyota's level of manufacturing so believe or leave but our material cost is not anywhere near as low as Toyota's. For the record, we did not price it "because the dealer charges some astronomically high amount for essentially a consumable piece of plastic." There are many different factors that dictate the price, besides the fact that it's still more economical all n all.

Also, consumable sounds a bit harsh bro. IMHO I expect my Fend-X Liners to outlast the life of my truck. Anyhow, I appreciate your feedback and wanted to chime back!

Are these “Pre-orders” already fabricated and ready to ship just after the initial order session outlined above simply with some additional savings or is there some expected lead time for production still? If so what’s your estimated shipping look like? I definitely need a set as I trimmed my passenger side a tad to much when installing my Pelfreybilt bumper. Not a major issues but intake port is slightly exposed and if it actually ever rained when I’m at I’d be throwing some water up there for sure.

Would the stock Baja suspension fall into the "Body Lift" option on the site? If so, would I have to choose 1" or 2" seeing the Baja is about 1.5" in the front?

What up Jeff, appreciate your interest!
Due to sheer # of options and configurations available, sets are designed and built to order. After the pre-order session, shipping will commence in chrono order, likely in weekly waves until up to date. All pre-orders will receive email updates along the way which will detail our progress and shipping projections in a week by week breakdown.

For Ex. Orders placed week of July 8 - 14 are on track to ship week of August 12 - 18

Will operate on this basis until up to date/current on all orders. Right now the Early bird incentive is first come, first serve with big shipping savings + $10 Off! TW memebers get an additional $10-15 Off list price!

The stock baja suspension would'nt fall into the body lift option on the site. That selection is optional, meaning you can proceed to check out without clicking an option. By leaving that section blank means your truck is either stock height or suspension lifted which tells us everything we need to know too :sawzall:

For those of us that cut our fenders to clear larger tires how would these secure in place along the edge of the fender?

Definitely interested in seeing someone make these work with trimmed fenders... Or i'd be willing to be a test pilot and do a write up on how to make it work if I can get a set! I'm also thinking about fabbing trimmed bushwackers with a bottom return to sell on TW so maybe this would be the perfect product to complete the project after you have to throw away the factory liners.

For anyone concerned, this dudes work and customer service is top notch. Buy with confidence.

OP try and come up with a nice mounting option for those of us with plate bumpers that are not the zip ties we are using now. I am thinking something with maybe a magnet.

Question about the option for “hardware included” on your site. Is that just replacement oem type plastic grommets or are these attatched in another way

    Reply ncoming :drunk:

Our Fend-X Liners are very versatile for mounting. However, there is no one size pattern fits all for trimmed fenders Or aftermarket fiberglass fenders. Due to the world # of variations between ones' cut fenders and someone else's, etc. mounting points will vary. Has anyone incorporate tabs and bent em inward when you cut fenders? If so, use the tabs to anchor the edges (2-4 points max). If no, that's cool too our Fend-X material conforms to the wheelwells and needs zero hardware to retain shape. Thanks to it's rigidity it can be anchored to any free points (not bound to mounting along edge of fender)
Chad, no doubt the 35" up crowd needs more options! Interested in learning more about custom wackers, hit us up with the details!
Good thinkin JJ! Like a magnetic clip that snaps onto the plate bumper

    +2!!
    :humble:

Yes, we do carry supply of OEM type screw grommets and black hex screws. Highly likely to break OEM fasteners while removing the OEM fender liners. We offer hardware as optional mainly because some prefer to use/source their own and save some ca$h on order.

Yeah I use 200lb magnets in beer bottle openers I make and I was thinking we could fab a bracket that attaches via a couple magnets to the lower inside lip of a plate bumper. Then you could bolt or screw the liner to it. Seems it would be pretty good universal mount for any type of plate bumper. The 200lb version would probably be overkill but something along those lines. I don't know why these aftermarket bumper guys don't just make a couple of tabs when they design these things but it seems like no one does.
