    I agree with the consensus here. Seems reasonable. They may do it for less if you offer cash. Mostly just wanted to say your truck looks amazing !

    That estimate is actually on the low side, though everything listed is 100% accurante and necessary. PDR not an option due to cracked paint. Any competent painter will blend within the bedside and clear coat the entire thing, and you'll never be able to tell. That's reflected on the estimate OP provided. Spraying color on the entire bedside will require blending the cab corner and door. No reason at all to make this repair more invasive than necessary. No reason to replace the bedside. White is a pain in the ass to paint. Metallic vs. non-metallic is not really relevant to repair costs.

    I think I covered everything. :goingcrazy:

    @Salmonloaf

    In this case I wouldn't worry myself about randoms on the internet opinions. Since it holds sentimental value to you ask yourself one question. What would my dad do?

    Just some stuff...
    I would just get it done. If you don’t, every time you walk up to it you’ll see that dent and wish you did. Usually prices go up not down.
    Edit: Hopefully they get that TRD decal lined up correctly also.

    I thought the quote was gonna be WAY worse based on your post. I'd think that is 100% reasonable these days.

    I agree with this sentiment the most @Salmonloaf. Doesn't really matter what we think when sentimentality is involved. FWIW, like others said that's a good quote for the work and blended spray though. Also nice clean rig, keep it clean!

    If it were my non-sentimental rig, I'd pull the dent, sand-down the crack area, and rattle can blend with 2K after. Then do some paint correction. I've done it on my paint matched bumper. Is it 100%? Hell no. But it works and was the price of my time and custom mixed rattle can and 2K.

    Went thru that myself, Wifes truck got hit. Sourcing the body panel was a royal PITA. Finally got it to the shop and repaired.
