Long story short - Hit from behind, rear bumper, drivers rear fender, tailgate, turn signal, and drivers side rear window are damaged. Truck is drivable, no one hurt. Most pressing concern is the rear window. It is in 3 sections, with the center sliding section.

Is the rear window 1 assembly, or is this small pane of glass replaceable on its own??

Either way, need the part number. Any help appreciated.

Don't have the part number but I can tell you the rear glass is one assembly.
Cost me over $1000 when the wife broke the passenger side on my 12 model.

Thanks for the info on the window assembly. As far as I can tell the frame is ok, but I need a shop to look at it to be sure.

If anyone can point to the parts manual, that would be great.

Good news is I have Pelfreybilt bumpers enroute, but would like to get her back to stock before upgrading.

    Thanks again

You will need to replace the whole window, you can find them on ebay,cl and Amazon for a little cheaper than some glass shops. If you were rear ended the other persons insurance should cover the repair.

Hey GlassMaster - Thanks for the advice. Yes, I hope that the culprits insurance company will pay, but this is Ecuador, and things work a little differently. I did just check online as you suggested, and I see an OEM model for about $550. Local Toyota dealer here quoted $700. Now I just have to find a way to ship it in!

So, from your handle - Are you in that business?

Thanks again for the helpful advice - Appreciated!

My bad dude I didn't know you were in another country, Yes I did auto glass for 15 years.

Another option is try Craigslist in the states a lot of junk yards part out cars and you might be able to get a used glass shipped to you.

Try to find somebody who broke one of the other two parts, then you can make one good one out of two bad.

Wish it were that easy, but the entire unit is one assembly - I am going to check with a local glass shop here to see if they can do anything.

No, it is SOLD as a single assembly. It is ACTUALLY several distinct pieces.
For example, the dealer will sell the ALTERNATOR as a "single part", yet it has MANY different pieces and can be disassembled and have parts replaced in it -- hence you are able to buy rebuilt alternators.
