    Hello Folks,
Got a 97' Tacoma. I was recently involved in a little fender bender. Unfortunately, I dropped my full coverage about six months ago to save a little money since I'm unemployed...big mistake. Now I'm on my own to fix my truck. I think the bumper itself is salvagable. However; the black plastic under bumper trim piece needs to be replaced, as well as the marker light lens and a missing trim piece under the right headlight. My brush guard underneath is bent....I'm hoping to straighten it out a bit. The quarter panel is tweaked, causing the passenger door to bind a bit when opened/closed. I don't guess there's much I can do about that other than replacing it.
So, I'm thinking of either replacing OEM parts with junk yard OEM parts; or, looking for an aftermarket bumper to replace everything with.
    Any suggestions, recomendations?
I tried to include pics, but did'nt have any luck.
Oh, BTW, I don't really do any offroading; though, I'd like to do a little at some point, so if I go aftermarket, it can be pretty basic I think.

    I should've done a little more research first...sorry guys.
The piece I need most is the bumper "valance". My chrome bumper is dented a bit, but could probably be salvaged. I see there are lots of the parts available on ebay, and other resources, for as low as $40 or so for the valance. I don't know about the quality though.
I really like some of the off-road bumpers such as the All-pro. But these all seem to start around $500. Being that I'm on a budget, and don't really off-road, they may not be an option. If the fitment is good, and I can just replace my bumper/valance/skid-guard with one of these, then I would maybe spend the money. Not sure which is the best option. I do know one is way more expensive than the other.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
So you are just looking for an affordable/functional bumper, whether its OEM or not?

Thanks scottri. I wish I could say it was'nt all my fault. But that's not how Johnny Law sees it.
98Tacoma, if I can get an offroad bumper/rig that will take the place of the bumper, vallance, and skidplate for around $500 or less, and pretty much bolt up, I may go for it. Otherwise whatever OEM type parts I can get for less than that. I've never had to replace anything like this before. So I new to it.
