Just the other day I'm telling another user to pop rivet his back on and now I'm seeing this...

At the top/side of my passenger rear flare, it has separated from the body along a few inches. So since my vehicle won't be hammered on hard until it's paid off, what's the suggested fix here? I'm going to have to clean it before adhering it with anything, and that looks like fun. I'd like to do it right but also on the cheap and without potentially breaking all the clips in a removal.

Has anyone done a quick fix similar to this one, and can suggest some tips on how to do it without making the split bigger?
    Thanks!

Definitely going to need some extra clips. That's just part of it.

I havent pulled flares off a Tacoma before. Are you saying it looks like clips have already broken, or that they're going to? I definitely didn't put my bedside into anything. I also cant tell if that gasket has adhesive or is just held on by applied pressure from the clips.

If yours are like that and you push it back in, and it doesn't hold, likely they're broken. They are not indestructible by any means.

It wouldn't hurt to pull that one, do some paint correction underneath if it's dirty and filthy, and install all new clips.

The gasket is held on by adhesive. It's a one time use deal so don't take it off! Lol I learned the hard way.

I painted mine with some bedliner, they came out alright. Just a pain getting them off to paint.

Wow, that looks great. I'll do that too, seeing as I have to reglue the things on.
    Thanks for the idea.
