I would recommend that use the adhesive tape so that they hold better since you don’t have the clips. I did it a few years back when I had an SR and used the tape and screws. I just bought some 3M tape and that worked great.

not flares, Mouldings. These are the black part that connects with the flares on the rear section. the SR has a different Moulding than the trucks with flares.

Black out fog lights, black out bar light, black out marker lights (raptor grill stye), DRL marker lights (uner headlight), remote start and door locks, sun visors with vanity lights, extra fuse box, peddle commander, under hood light, hood struts, heated seats, anytime camera and step lights. Painted headlights, added fender flares and installed indestructible vinyl on sides. Seat covers.
I put 3M tape on mounting tabs also. Have not installed yet. Got mine from E- Bay but the front ones were cheap and didn't come up enough. I should have measured before putting tape on them and cutting off bracket. I ordered different ones. I'll let you know how they came out.

I'm glad I found this thread. The flares were yet another thing I discovered my SR didn't have after a random impulse truck purchase.
I scored a set of SR5 flares for $75 this week. I think I'm going to try and wrap them in forged carbon fiber vinyl since they are scuffed and the wrong color....

I went with the Rough Country flares painted to match my super white. No drilling and they fit snug on my SR.

Has anyone fitted mud flaps after the flare install?
You'd need to get oem flaps that went with the oem flares correct?
    I am new to this!
