Getting ready to do mine this week- I've got a 2017 AC, super white utility similar to yours- I like the look of the black on black on white.

Your tutorial was spot on. Tried some Lund flares, but was very disappointed. Finally found some OEM flares on Marketplace. Thanks for taking the time to post such detailed instructions.

Not clear to me and to confirm - using these instructions and parts, I can take 3rd gen OR flares to swap out my colour matched flares on a 2021 TRD Sport?

Other than some replacement moulding clips and 2-sided tape, there's no drilling in body work?

    Thanks!

Anybody try just cutting their rear bedside mouldings in place of ordering the short versions? I see you'll end up without one of the bolt holes but I feel like that can be worked around. In OP's photo comparing the two mouldings, it looks like you can just cut the non-flared ones to fit.

excellent write-up only thing that was a pain was getting the old glue off. I found a set of blue OEM flares for 100 bucks, spent a week and primed/painted/cleared them and got them on this weekend.

actually really happy with how it looks on a bearded taco.

Cut mine...had to drill a hole in each and added some Permatex...no problems and saved about $50

Do you have any pictures of this in progress or after install? I have a set of fender flares but I've been holding off mainly because I just haven't gotten around to ordering the other pieces needed. But if I don't need the shorter version then I might give this a go soon. Thanks!

So are 5 (53851-04100), 6 (53853-04070), and 7 (53855-04010) on the diagram not required for installation?
