I noticed that my front driver side fender flare is starting to separate from the fender. None of the clips seem to be dislodged, I think the 3m tape in there is just failing. Anybody else have this problem? 20210401_153442.jpg

Mine did exactly this on my 2020 and the dealership had to order in a new flair, paint it and then install it and its fine now. Annoying part was the body shop they dub out to painted it the wrong shade (Also Barcelona Red). They had to then do it all over again lol. It looks as new now.

Ah geez, that's sounds like it was a hassle, glad they finally got it right though. I guess I'll ask the dealer about it next time I take it in. Thanks for the info and cheers on having almost the same trucks!

I had no idea they had adhesive on them. I've removed mine before and reinstalled it without any issues wtf

Crazy that they would order a new one to install when all it needs is some 3M tape.....

That's what I thought too. Unless the clips were damaged or something? I might end up just slapping some new tape in there myself.

I did when I swapped my painted ones to the black matte OR ones. You'll break most/all of the blue and orange clips but you can buy replacement clips for cheap on Amazon.

Ah, that's good to know. Maybe I'll see if the dealer will do it for me before trying myself.

Honestly it's not that hard. The worst part of the whole thing is trying to get the old 3M tape off.

Use this method to get the old adhesive off: https://youtu.be/ASWhbQCVhk8

Then you will need to use some Goo Gone, followed by some IPA to ensure the surface is clean prior to reattaching after you've added the new 3M tape.

A 3M eraser wheel will also make quick work of adhesive on the body. They are a bit spendy though.
