I'm planning on making some molds for both extensions that use the existing flare mounting bolts underneath and molds for likely a two inch wider flare that would use stock mounting. Ill make gel coat fiberglass reinforced molds so I'll be able to produce several sets if there's interest.

I'll definitely keep an eye out. If they turn out nice I might be your first customer.

Upgraded to the TRD 17" rims and added weld on rock sliders with Bed coat material, Billsteins in the front set at 1.75, tinted windows.
You know you could always place clear bra material in impact areas, I had it installed on my Shelby GT500 from the front edge to halfway up the hood and completely covered the front bumper and it was worth every penny. Plan on doing the same on my 2014 Taco

Still doesn't keep your truck from getting dirty. At some point I plan to do a full wrap.

Been busy for a bit but I have finally managed to do something working towards making new flares. I searched for awhile for oem flares second hand but I never came across any and just bought some bushwackers for the meantime. I installed them yesterday and although I'm not a fan of the way they look, they are a nice product. Everything was pretty straight forward and seemed to be quality.

Heres the short version of the day,

Washed the truck up and go all the parts ready
    image_zps9nypd3op_2372603727eac52088e20c06f6a8c33f8cff569b.jpg

then realized your never as clean as you think as it came apart
    image_zpsc2wt7481_851ce86be6bfaf1a1cb37e09ca90a8b5bd24c638.jpg

started to realize I hate Toyotas clip system
    image_zpsefrkvn33_9934e59ee8176f4ef0be76c442035234afedc5a8.jpg

And after fastening several bolts that don't do anything and a pretty solid and straight forward install it was all over and back in the drive lookin like a bedazzled pair of jeans and a bit more contrast then I care for (no offense to anyone who has em just not my style... or lack of style)
    image_zpspcwgyjal_9ff8ddc64f2afdee4f1d1c720ac15979ba755249.jpg
    image_zpsfw0p255v_471242dbd78797efaa045da8dcbd269971130167.jpg

And soon I couldn't take all the extra black and bling and decided to break it up a bit
    image_zpsw2slt8jt_9dfa79d9b710cf66b7f85b7657950cab9f1bf96d.jpg

I only covered one as I'm not sure if I like it enough to spend two hours to cut all the vinyl and then apply it all piece by piece and trim all the parts that hit the edge for something that's supposed to be temporary, but I'm kind of addicted to wasting my time and my weekends while avoiding working on priority items so ill probably do all of them this weekend.

The next step, ive got a bunch of molding clay, fiberglass and gel coat to start the mold making process just waiting on hardener for the gel coat. Hopefully weekend after the fourth ill have some progress on the long term goal of stock looking(maybe slightly better looking) larger non bedazzled fender flares.

    :D
The worst is you occasionally see some f-250/350's with the 4" bushwhacker flares and stock wheels and tires. The arches look like frickin sails on the side of the car.
Saw one today actually, but not the first time, unfortunately.

Didn't even know something like that existed. That's probably the best result for effort, but I still think i'd look a touch funny cuz the factory flares is already an attachment to the body so it would be like an attachment to an attachment, idk.

Yea I've been seeing a lot of 04-09 rams that skipped leg day, it looks awful with the tire that far in. I don't get it but then again I live in the land of naked lady mud flaps, ridiculous large dip in front bumpers, lining your oversized step rails with semi clearance lights, and who's got the biggest dual whips.

They end up covering just between 1/8 to 3/16 of an inch more than stock.
