Will this process work with a 2014 tacoma trd sport with stock painted fender flares?

I don't see why it wouldn't. Just don't rush the spraying. In my experience, 4 or 5 light coats are better than 2 or 3 heavy coats.

Greetings friends, I have spent $100's trying to cure the white discoloration issue on my flares and finally pulled the trigger and cured my problem.#1 Order new fender clips on Amazon#2 Bought 2 cans of premium black semi gloss black and premium clear coat plastic spray paint,300 grit to knock off any imperfections and make paint adhere better,#3 Remove flares#4Degrease,dry,and spend extra time with light coats!#4Clearcoat flares with a very light 1st coat and 12 hours later with good protective coat and the fender flares are prestine even after 1 year!Oh yeah, I was hesitant on painting over flare seals but took the chance and turned out with no issues!
