Hey guys. I have a 97 tacoma that orginally came with the chrome trim around the fenders. I'm not a huge fan of chrome and was curious if anyone has had experience swapping out the small chrome trim around the fenders and moved to the black fender flares?

Never had the chrome on my 96, but I put the black flares from a 98 and they bolted right up

Cool! I wasn't sure if I was going to need to figure out clips for it or not. If it just bolts up there then it shouldn't be too difficult.

Just keep in mind though, the 01-04 do have clips. Not sure if those will bolt up or not

98-00 flares are hard to find and are expensive as they are just right and you don’t have to cut anything to put them in.
