Hi everyone, I have a 2021 sport in army green. I really like the look of black fender flares, but they would only give this truck with colour matched flares. Has anyone painted these, or replaced them? Are they even paintable? Or do I need to just order black ones from a dealer and swap them out?

Just get them wrapped. If for some reason you need to revert back, you can just rip it off.

Great Idea, I never thought of that. Is that something that I could do? If so, where would i buy the wrapping?

I haven't wrapped anything yet, but have read that the 3M wrap is good stuff. There's also a lot of videos on You Tube on wrapping and I'm sure you could find one there. Good luck

I’m pretty sure you could do it. Makes it a lot easier if you can isolate the piece, which you can. Maybe google various products, I’m not experienced in wrapping.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Go with carbon fiber looking wrap

Funny I really wanted the SR5 DCLB due to the coloured fenders. I didn't want OR due to black fender flares (long story how I ended up in OR)

When we were poor, we all had black bumpers, black mirrors etc. They were plastic and unpainted. Rich people had the EX or XLE that had body coloured fenders and mirrors and door handles.

Now it seems its all the rage, and people like the blacked out fenders. I am stuck with mine. I guess styles change - we just remained poor :D

Should've gotten the off road. Would've saved you a lot of headache.
