Just installed the C4 Fender Liner kit. Cutting the fender, both the sheet metal and black plastic took the longest and was the most time consuming. Did not end up using the fender cutting sticker template that comes with the kit as I had a different cut shape in mind.

Installing the fenders was pretty easy. I would say the hardest part was jamming the rear fender piece (the one with the C4 logo on it) into the fender cavity area. Using a sand hammer helped persuade the fender in.

One thing I wished C4 provided was a written instruction sheets. I used their youtube install video which was very helpful but I prefer to have something in writing i can refer to during install. Other than that super straight forward install and I appreciate C4 making a kit like this to protect my door jams and air intake. Now make one for the rear!!!

Threw some pics on post installation and fender trim. IMG_4829.jpg IMG_4824.jpg IMG_4825.jpg IMG_4828.jpg

What's your opinion of them after having them for a few months?

I've had mine about a year at this point. Including a 5,000 mile road trip out west and back. Probably 7500 road miles on top of that. They are good.

Are they noticeably louder now that they are metal instead of plastic?

I cant tell they are on which means i like them. Driven in some mud and it kept my door jams clean for the most part. They are pretty stout and I do not notice any additional noise coming from it. Doesnt seem to have came loose or anything.

Aesthetically wise, I probably would end up painting them black down the road.

To forget that they are even there is precisely as it should be.
    Thank you sir.
