Fender trim TRD OR?

Has anyone removed the black fender trim? Saw a SR5 and I really liked the look of the fenders without the black trim. Any thoughts?

There are some that have on their build, but there will be holes left in your fender, that's why I never removed mine when I had my pre runner.

I can see what appears to be double stick tape but I wasn't sure if there was any bolts...

 

There should be fender clips if the 3rd gen is like the 2nd gen, you should be able to see them from inside the fender and bumper. If it's only 3m tape, all you need is a hair dryer, some goo gone, and some elbow grease.

 

They are screwed at the bottom and have some through hole clips around the top

 

Oh well guess the are there to stay, I think it would look cleaner without the black flares..Sport flare might be plan B.
