Finally got my new tires on as well as a two inch lift. I thought it would be enough to clear my tires and it almoooosstttt is, the only time I’m getting rub is on the back of my wheel arches at full turn lock. Was curious if anyone had a solution for this? Was thinking about taking my inner well lining off and possibly the flares to give a little more room. Another friend of mine suggested turn limiters to stop the radius right before the rub. I have plenty of clearance vertically and when sitting wheels straight plenty of room as well, it’s just when turning. Thanks for any suggestions.

Yea! That would be the part. It rubs right where that plastic rivet is. Just enough the rivet is bent. Thats the only place I get any kind of rub.

And I sang it out loud in my head. Anyone have a build thread where I can research how to cut this stuff? Happy to do it just want to get it right.

Dremel, a plastic cut off wheel, a steady hand and SEND IT. No researching no tricks. Wherever it rubs, cut.

Nice truck, I was just looking at those wheels the other day, or something very similar.

Yeah I'd definitely wait. One of the factors of alignment is caster, and that's how far forward or backwards your wheel is in the wheel well. Do you have aftermarket or stock UCAs?

Everything is stock. I had blown shocks so I took the stock Bilsteins off of my buddies 14 Tacoma. Rides like a new truck. I was looking at some caster numbers in the forums, do you have a recommendation of caster?

You say everything is stock, but in your first post you say you have a 2" lift?

Anyways, since you're lifted shoot for as much caster you can get while still keeping camber/toe around 0. ideal is 3 degrees but you won't get that with stock UCAs. If you can squeeze 2 degrees out of it you're doing well.

Whoops sorry not used to having the lift on yet. I have a 2" lift, aftermarket wheels, shocks and struts are "stock" but off of another Tacoma.

Gotcha. So what's causing the lift? Do you have a spacer in there?

Spring spacers in the front and blocks in the rear.

Gotcha. That doesn't make any difference here, but I was just curious. Once you get it aligned let us know how it does.
