Way to much vibration for a somewhat comfort DD. Had a built 83 with TG bombproof motor mount and MC HD and hate it after the first day. Than swap everything back to OE, big difference

Unique and one of a kind for a first gen... I'll let the picture explain itself..

To each their own. Mine broke in big time and i dont even notice the vibration anymore. I also only noticed it in drive or reverse while not moving. Dailyed mine for years with the mounts with no issues. I always found the gears humming in the crawl box/tcase more annoying but everything was fixed with a twist of the dial on the radio.

I also realized the trade offs of all this work is I lost some of the comfort that toyota designed into the truck as the truck becomes more capable offroad yet is still more than capable to get me to work and store everyday. To each their own.

If you're 2.28 front, use the front. If the front is 4.7, use the rear.

Lol. Too much trouble to mess with if someone is going to do a triple reduction on a first gen, especially a DC. Have to clearance the tunnel much farther and so much pounding but at the end of the day, its well worth it. But I wouldn't do it again. Had a first gen pickup and 03 DC SA with dual case, kinda want a triple case for this built with the custom diamond axles.

So triples gets me 2wd lo. I’m good. I’d rather have the 2 stick setup.

You can also just run a dual stick on the transfer case and a single stick on the crawl box. 3 levers regardless.
