Yea I don't think I can justify spending over $400 for a winch. My buddy can get me the Smittybilt 12k for about $250. I'm just waiting for my year end bonus :)

Not yet buddy^ I think the winch is more important than the snorkel. I do think our trucks look beasty with that snorkel sticking up! haha

    haha, for reals??

one thing is that I never wheel alone...so is a winch really necessary?? know what I mean? but its a good piece of insurance to have

It's more of just piece of mind for me, but a lot of the time it's a lot easier to throw a strap on then pull the winch cable out

ummm, excuse me :p haha...I had too man.

the strap has seemed to work fine for the type of wheeling I have done. One thing I do want to do is take on the Rubicon with my truck...and most likely I will be open/open, so I will need a winch...but I need a lot more seat time before taking my truck thru that place....not gonna happen in 2015, maybe 2016

by that time, I will have both winch and snorkel...hella mall points :D

haha for ruby, id be way more worried about having atleast a rear locker then a winch but i guess both would be the best... u dont need a snork for rubi

but the mall points, I need mall points..haha

Lockers are last on the list, since the fuckers cost so much..and re-gear since I am going in the diff, and I guess bigger tires since the re-gear.....oh god, it never ends does it

like bayareataco said, it would probably be cheaper if I was addicted to heroin! haha
