well, I'm in the middle of studying my IFSTA 5th edition for Fire Academy in April, this stuff is to cool! anyways, figured a FF Rollcall would be cool, a place to meet and chat, tell stories etc.
Let's start a sort of sign in sheet, tell us who you are, where you work, your position, how long you've been fighting fires and anything else you wanna add!
    I'll start

    Ross Buchanan
Training and working my butt off to get a chance at the best career in the world.
hope to work in Kelowna B.C Canada

    who's next?

We run majority wrecks in our district, but have our share of structure fires, and assist neighboring districts as well

Been on an ass load of calls. Lots of dead people. Lots of wrecks. One structure fire where 5 people got shot, and 1 died of smoke inhalation, probably my most memorable call.

I think we have a thread like this, cant remember though. Where is Danny boy? :D

FF since 2005. Started with William Cameron Engine Company in Lewisburg, PA, then moved to this department. Our coverage area is largely rural and has a lot of small lanes on farms and in the woods which sometimes makes for tricky access issues.

Not that I remeber. I was down in San Diego in 07, well Escondido, but we stayed in San Diego. In 08 I was down in Ventura, didnt make it passed Sacramento this last year. The Cedar fire sounds familiar but I dont think I was on it.
