Yeah I'm surprised how good the amber lens does. It appears to not go as far but it's so much easier On the eyes that it's kind of a wash between which one I like more.

Haha the black lens? That's just a cover for protection.
Blue is apparently for snow too but I've seen light forces with blue lenses and did not care for it at all.

Nope I haven't tackled it yet. But don't let me mislead you when I said it feels stiff. I LOVE the way it rides. Yes I think the front can be stiff in certain conditions, but overall it's miles smoother than my stock stuff was.

I'm 100% certain the sway bar is the culprit of riding stiff on certain terrain. I just haven't had the motivation to take it off one of these weekends I'll tackle it. I guess I was wording it weird. I really love it and appreciate you steering me toward the 883s. No regrets here at all.

I was out driving with a friend down some dirt roads to show him my D2s and retros and he was amazed at how smooth it was hitting bumps and potholes at 25mph. Could hardly feel them honestly. So that reassured me that they aren't too stiff. And he's comparing it to his FJ which is basically brand new. And btw, after showing him my lights he ordered retros from TRS, a pair of D2 driving, a pair of 6" SR spots, and both upper and lower grills from Rigid haha. I guess seeing them helps people spend money.

But anyway, I freakin love my suspension. The only minor regret I might have in the future is my leaf pack choice. The dakars ride awesome with the AAL, but I think I should have gone with the expos for more weight capacity. Only time will tell there though.

And speaking of lights, I got my switches almost finished tonight. Couldn't get the switch for my rear lights in because it won't fit in the factory switch blank by the 12v outlet. I'll need to dremel that out in the next few days. Ill also need to wire it so the texts lights up with my dash lights. I think I'll end up tapping into the factory clock wiring to do that.

Yes I get the floating feeling at speed as well. Hitting bumps at speed while turning slightly makes the front end hop which I assume wouldn't happen as much without the sway bar.

Is he making a first gen plate bumper yet? That's what I'm more interested in. Although the hybrid with filler plates would probably be badass as well.

Yeah that's crossed my mind. But mostly so I can mount a cargo carrier in the front. It's handy when I go dip netting so I can pull a trailer with an ATV on it and still have the ability to put some gear on that cargo hauler.

But yes, winching either front or back would be great too.

Would be a great spot for winch switches or compressor and front locker.

Yeah and we can use all the space we can squeeze out of our 1st gens. Space is precious...lol

I was going through my truck and got my had stuck in the door pocket. Had to yank my wrist out. That pocket is basically useless.

Haha definitely! The only reason I got a single din radio, room for at least 5 more switches!

Haha maps and that's pretty much it.
