Does anyone know of any companies that run the “trophy truck” style fiberglass bedsides for the 3rd Gen? I know roadrunner fiberglass does but I can’t find anyone else who does. I wish advanced did seeing as I love their products.

Advanced does, McNeil racing and Fiberwerks do too. There’s probably a “show off your glass” thread on here somewhere

I know they make the bedsides but not with the “hump” on the bedsides though do they?

My McNeill have a slight hump which I wish were actually flat.

I think road runner is the only one and their glass isn’t great in my experience.

Yeah I haven’t heard anything about them at all so that’s why I haven’t pulled the trigger on them.

I initially bought road runner fenders. They looked cool but the glass was very thin and nothing really lined up. I now have McNeil fenders and bedsides. The glass is super thick and even if you cut off some of the structural rigidity (I did to clear tires) they are still solid. And for lining up…I drilled the holes on the marks, didn’t bother test fitting anything, had them painted and all but a couple holes didn’t line up. Great quality.

I can’t speak for any other brands as I’ve never had them. There is a thread in the long travel section where people post theirs. You can take a look there.

Edit: here’s the thread if you haven’t seen it.

You mean a roof top tent? If so continue…

If your rack that holds the tent only bolts to the bed rails and you aren’t doing any serious off road, I think you’d be okay.

However for mine I had a special rack that bolted to the bed and frame and not the bedsides or factory rail.

I like those. Not the greatest for tire clearance but it’s nice they line up with the front bumper and use what appear to be the factory bed caps.
