Fiberglass cap

Looking for a used cap for a 2013 Tacoma Access cab with 6' bed in Barcelona Red thats in good shape. So far what I've seen belongs in a landfill. These caps are $2000 new, why do people trash them ?

 

I'm in CT and have been looking as well but in white

Killam in east windsor has a used red shell on their site for 600 bucks.

 

Was up at Killiams today … the cap didn’t have a rear sliding window , quite a few large chips in it & the struts on the rear door were rusted…. I’d need to put some $$ into it ….. I’ll keep looking…. Thanks

 

Probably because they won't work on their next vehicle and the person who bought their truck doesn't want the cap.
