Yeah, I just wouldn't want anything to bright if I drive around with them on. However, I do keep a back up set of white led interior bulbs and a flashlight in the truck. I have some purple leds from csjumper in the dome and map lights and I agree, they aren't bright at all, just effect/ambient lighting really.

Exactly. I was hoping for more output from the LEDS in my gagues but they just don't get bright. So I'm going to swap them all over to red/white sometime in the near future.

I see you figured out how to link your pic to your build thread

Ha! Yeah, all thanks to you man! If you swap you gauge out look into cool white led's. I had just white in mine and then had Jerez swap them out with cool white and I like it so much better. It's not too bright to where it's harsh at night but it's not hard to see. Just a suggestion.

Thanks I'll look into them. I think I'm going with red numbers and white needles. I have a custom TRD Faceplate that Moose1988 had made but they screwed up one of the indicator lights on it. Its just in the wrong section but its for a 4x4 so it works or me. Figured it would be a good combo. I'll have to see how much bleeds through it though.

Just checked it out on your build thread. Didn't realize it was custom. And Yeah, I see what you mean with the purple leds

Same thing. They shipped him another and told him to 'cut the old one up'. So its in my garage now.

I pretty much get his old parts off his truck lol. So far I have his:

    885's and 9000 shocks
    Gauge faceplate
    Frontgrill/Satoshi mod
    HID Spots behind the grill
2 boxes of old projector parts
    2 boxes of HID bulbs/ballasts
There is something else I'm forgetting.

Agreed. I've been pondering putting in some Mini H1 projectors into my fog light location since I have all these parts.

I've been wanting to put some projectors in my fogs as well. Just haven't got around to getting the parts for it. Not very high on my mod list right now, lol. I'm just debating on saving for a bumper or redoing my lift. Then again, not like it'll be anytime soon with the kid taking control of the budget right now, lol.

Do you have any info posted about the parts and install? I haven't looked into it but the idea came up last night again so I'm wanting to proceed with it.

Ditto. But I really hate paying people money for something I know I can do. It's just I don't like building headlights. Stereo systems I'll spend up to 15-20 hours in a day working on it if the weather is nice. Headlights, 20 minutes into it I'm ready to throw them for some reason.

    Thanks for the info.

Got the tint stripped off my fogs and put on the amber Lamin-x film. So far I like it!

Hey man, nice tacoma! I have a question for you. I have a billstien 5100 3" lift kit springs up front add leaf in rear and shocks all around also new uca's. I want to run 33x12.5x18r. Are you running the same lift? Yours is basically the same tire size

Yep, I have bilstein 5100's with eibach coils and LR uca's and a 2" AAL and running 285/75/16. I also have a cab mount chop so you may need to have one done depending on the offset of your wheels

It's a 0mm offset, only way the novakanes come. Which the offsets and back spacing are always confusing to me.

Installed my laminx last night. Came out decent. Good enough. I kept the paper backings so if I have to redo it, I'll buy the less expensive universal piece and just trace it on like a stencil
