Ahhh the perils of salt fishing. Changes daily. Thabks for the offer of half price but I prefer kicking back and having a cold one enjoyting the sights on the way into port rather than hosing decks and scraping fish scales. Lol. Ill bring 2-3 setups as usual for the different types of possible fishing. From irons to fly lining we'll get some fun action indeed.

This is the second time I've been and the second time the cops are sitting at the exit. If you don't want to be hassled, leave by 830/9. Or sober up fully. I recommend both. I was sober when I left. Still sucks being hassled by the man

 

I don't have a front plate either and I'm not about to drill that ugly frame on. I'll leave early. Glad you didn't get locked up brotha.

 

Yeah, well shit. Mike and I left there at 10:15 on a Wednesday and no one stopped us but I wouldn't doubt they will stop people on a weekend. Thanks for posting that in here, we'll for sure have to be responsible.

I think it was said in the OC thread, and I think it's airdog who has his plate on with Velcro. You've got a bumper so you could probably do something similar.

Yeah just read that. I'll have to find a spot. Maybe the front of the winch plate... not many good surfaces on a tube bumper...

Just toss the front plate up on the dash as you leave. Take it down and toss it in the back seat after we pass the po-po

 

Dash wont work .. they want it on the front bumper .. trust me i know

 

That sucks. What laws have changed recently? I heard someone mention they got a ticket for an LED light bar in the lower front bumper because it wasn't covered.

 

Yeah that has always been a law. Just depends how picky the officer is

 

Looks fucking tacky having the plate handing sideways off the tube with wire. Hahahah I'll figure something good out.

Damn... I guess I've just been lucky. I haven't ran a front plate since day 1 with my truck, received one warning. I've had forward lights on the front bumper for the past ~7 years and no tickets... yet. let's hope it stays that way!

 

Thats always been a law.. its considered an off-road light.. but never heard if anyonee getting a ticket over that
