Never made em before either. Id imagine just stuff em with bacon crumbles and cream cheese, wrap em in bacon, grill em, then flash fry em in bacon fat and boom! Jalapeno bacon sweats?

Depending on what the doctor sez about Robi's pending hip replacement, we would like to attend. First timers so be gentle. Dog's allowed? Her's is a service dog so no real issue but more fun to have her out of the harness for the day. Totally dog friendly to people and other dogs.

I have a Green Mountain Grill - runs on 12 volts and uses wood pellets, it small but I have made some killer poppers on it. I torch the peppers to remove the skin, clean and stuff, bake at 400 for 20 minutes over mesquite. Not breaded or fried but easier on the cholesterol screening.....

I've been looking at those green mountain pellet grills for a couple years. Never seen one out in the wild but they look awesome.

We're in for 10/15, not sure about 11/5 yet. I've got a grill that should work with the firepit so I'll bring that along.

Yes they are. Made pizza tonight, never use the oven in the house anymore. Will make a pineapple upside down cake for brother-in-laws birthday sunday out in Indio. I mean if Walmart has the cheapest price for pellets with no cost delivery? You just can't go wrong.
Only down side is it doesn't 'char', if that is important then drop your meat in a pan first, otherwise it's good. Since we dry camp a lot I wanted to get away from charcoal and mess of cleaning up from handling it.
Upside, we where in the Sequoia's last year, no fires, no charcoal, ranger looked at and said no problem
